Reported Imazapyr use since July 22, 2016 (after the passage of Measure V banning the intentional leaving of dead standing trees):

– Mendocino Redwood Company applied 29.4 gallons on 293 acres (August 2, 3, 4, 5)

Total reported Imazapyr use (timber industry in Mendocino County) since Jan 1 of this year:

309 gallons on 2,045 acres
Note: MRC is responsible for about half of these YTD totals.
1) MRC uses imazapyr for Hack & Squirt (tree killing).
2) MRC uses glyphosate (Roundup) and triclopyr (Garlon) for foliar spraying on brush.
